We got fuckin pigs making people sick... ah hell NO!! I woke up this morning with a slightly soar throat and a headache (insert goosebumps)... By now all my "liberal" friends are most likely spinning into some rage about "fear mongering" in America and "mass distraction"... I get it, the government wants us to be scared in order to pull off some kind of scam (insert goosebumps) but you know what.... I don't give a damn anymore! I just don't want to get sick! DO NOT COME NEAR THE SPREAD STUDIO! I will bacon your ass!... this swine flu shit is crazy I'm tellin you... Not to mention the fact that Tupac showed up in New Orleans last week! LMAO! WTF? We had a nice little debate about this shit in the studio last week and the consensus is that R.L. Stein IS Tupac (insert goosebumps)...


By now all my rapper friends are mad on some "Dekk don't disrespect Pac like that bro...." but I don't give a damn! If Pac is alive and partying in New Orleans, then I am somewhat disappointed in his life choices... I mean really, that's a pretty fucked up trick to play on millions of people... and it's also a MARKETING SCAM! He got rich as hell of that shit... That's why I love Jay-Z and NaS so much... They didn't have to die to be considered "great"... I'm just sayin... Early death seems to catapult people into "legend status" that might not otherwise be there ( cough *Dilla* cough)... Oh shit!! People are gonna fucking hate me for this post!! hahaha!... Listen.... I love Pac's music, I love Dilla's music and I love Big's music... but to say that any of them was the greatest is risky to me. It's my opinion that tragic death makes objectivity almost impossible... really who cares though? LOL! This guy does:

Hungry for your Dinosaur?

Lord knows I am!! Getting closer and closer to finding my dino though and Spread has only been in business for 5 months. At this point we are scrambling to put together a good team (lawyer & accountant) because there are some major things on the table for Beautiful Music. I don't want to say too much in case they fall through, but lets just say that Europe and Japan better watch out for Luck-One & DEKK!!


Beyond Beautiful Music, Spread has started working on a project with our first artist Jay Child. After just two days in the Studio we have the beginnings of HITS... Swear to god H-I-T-S!!! Oh yeah, did I mention that we have hits coming in the fall??? cuz we do!

Swag Face??

Ok I get it... Swag is fading like my "indie money" jeans (that means old and busted yo) but the fact remains that it will make a comeback in about 10 years. Swag will be that shit, again. Like, my kids will most likely ask me about the days of the original "swag" and I'll have to lie to them and say it was "cool". I mean thats what our parents have done with disco.. lmao! Word-em-up!!

That shit was soooo fire. Like, it made me get my swag face on. Especially because it dropped on MTV when I was like 13 and anything that MTV said was cool became cool, NO MATTER WHAT. Jay Child is a Portland area artist and he is extremely nice. "A Child is Born" is an exploration of his punchline/swag/word play style, but trust me when I tell you that he is capable of rocking concepts as well. Dude is super bonkers with the gift and we are working on some new shit right now... Dare I say, "that next shit!!"... Anyways, Jay Child gets his popular on like Patrick Dempsey did once he got cool in "Can't Buy Me Love":


Busy week this week... I've got a crazy interesting meeting tonight, but I'm playing it close to the chest with ya'll until I get the final word... Let's just say that things are looking up for me in several different ways and not just because of this meeting...
