Inspiration

I've been spending less time in the studio for the last couple of weeks, in large because of some advice that I got from Tim..

He told me that I spend so much time obsessing over being "productive" that I actually end up stifling my creativity. After some thought I've come to realize that he was absolutely right.

Music is something that requires the perfect combination of impulse, intention and execution. It requires deliberate method, even in its most expressive state. Right now I'm spending my time contemplating my intention and practicing my execution so that when the impulse kicks in I'll be ready...

Good looking out, Tim... Told you I listen ;-)

Well I learn from you too, I guess that's why we're a team these days.
