The happenings

Hard at work trying to find a method to all this mayhem... Funny thing is, my life is only going to speed up. So much has changed since I started this journey last fall... ALL FOR THE BETTER! This week Bruke and I are hoping to secure a studio space and make sure that all of our finances are in order. We should be done with all that by tomorrow, so I'm hoping that this week will give way to a lot of studio time. Luck-One and ILLAJ are most certainly in need of some hot records and I GOT THAT!! Chyeah!

Looking for space...

DaG yo-seff....... Mr. Couture and I have been looking for space to build a studio in Portland for the last 3 days and have yet to find "the one"... There is a lot of excitement circulating around the Spread crew right now, so road bumps like this are extra frustrating. I'm lusting to be cozy in a brand new lab MAKING exceptional music... Cross your fingers for us..

I'm in CO trick

I'm in Colorado for a week visiting family. As much as I love being here, I'm going crazy waiting on some news from back home. There are some major stars in line for the Spread team and with one phone call we might have our own little galaxy ya ya ya diiiiiiggggg???

In other news, I'm currently working out the kinks for the Jay Child & Dekk EP. The release is to be 7 tracks long and will be a free download for 1 month. At this point it's just a matter of getting the business end straightened out and the mixes finalized. I've also been working hard on my collaborations with ILLAJ and Luck-One. Both are going to be FUCKING BANONKERZ!!

I've come to realize that this whole process is impossible. The more that our visions begin to take shape the less they seem like dreams. It is impossible to find what does not exist. Music is quickly becoming my reality and as a result the fantasy is dissipating. Whether it's predetermined or self imposed, we all have a roll to play. For some it takes a lifetime behind curtains to memorize the script and get into character, for others it's just a matter of waiting for center stage to open up. I am the latter and my time is soon. Gone are the days of panic and unrest. I have fully accepted uncertainty and risk and have learned to combat them with patience and positivity. It is now clear to me that slow, careful , confident motion supersedes impulse and obsession. In order to create and inspire we must live with inspiration and creativity. The beauty in this is relativity. We can literally create our own purpose and change it as we see fit. In a right mind there is no such thing as failure and in a focused mind there is no such thing as success. Dedication is the middle point and where I choose to exist.

I've never been in a better place than where I'm at right now....
