I first saw this at Hip Hop is Read. Mr. Olbermann, thank you for this. I can only hope that it provokes thought in the minds of those who continue to hate (and I don't mean hate as known in repetitive hip hop terminology).
I am very aware of the homophobia that persists in America, especially in Hip Hop culture. I have no idea what it must feel like to be subject to that prejudice, just as I have no idea what it's like to be a Woman, or Black, or Latino, or Asian, or Native American, or poor, or differently-abled. All I know is that something is wrong if, when given the chance, we actually vote to take away rights from fellow citizens.... Please put your bias aside and listen to this, that's all I ask....
